A float level switch is composed of a reed switch and a float. As the liquid level rises or falls, the float moves accordingly and activates the reed switch at a predefined level. This action opens or closes an electrical contact, allowing accurate liquid level detection and control.
The magnet located inside the float activates one or more reed switches housed within the stem of the float switch, ensuring reliable and repeatable switching performance.
We use high-quality imported reed switches, which are the most critical components of float switches. Their durable construction ensures long, trouble-free service life. Hermetically sealed reed switches provide precise repeatability with less than 1% deviation, even under conditions of shock, vibration, and wear.
Float switches operate on a simple and direct working principle, making them highly reliable and cost-effective. Floats are available in various materials and sizes, with customizable electrical ratings and special configurations to meet specific application requirements.
Gravity Process Technology offers rugged cable suspended tilt level switches for dependable bulk material level control.
